On his sold-out November trip to Israel, jazz drummer Al Foster promised to come back soon. And now he is fulfilling that promise. The 65-year-old Foster will play five shows, from March 2 to March 6 in Tel Aviv (Cafe Bialik and Shablul), Herzliya (Zappa) and Jerusalem (The Lab). Foster was Miles Davis's drummer for 13 years, and he has played with Sonny Rollins, Herbie Hancock and Joe Henderson, among others. He will be here with homegrown saxophonist Eli Degibri and bassist Doug Weiss.
