Elena Yacov

Elena is an experienced nonprofit executive and an attorney who has dedicated her career to help funders create lasting impact through their philanthropy and nonprofits reach their full potential.

As the Executive Director of the Milstein Family Foundation, Elena oversees grantmaking, operations, and program development, guiding the Foundation’s strategic philanthropic initiatives with precision and foresight.

Elena is also the Executive Director of the TalkIsrael Foundation, spearheading its mission to foster a positive and constructive dialogue about Israel among American teens using the power of social media. She directs the organization’s strategy and operations, including brand development, partnerships, and budgets.

Elena is also the founder and CEO of Alta Consulting LLC, a consultancy aimed at optimizing philanthropic giving for startups, corporations, and individuals.

Leveraging her legal expertise, she assists funders, industry leaders, and professionals in maximizing the efficacy of their charitable contributions.

Previously, Elena served as a Partner Attorney in a firm specializing in civil and commercial litigation where she managed high-stakes commercial litigation cases and advised clients on diverse corporate and business matters, spanning corporate governance, commercial transactions, financing, strategic planning, and more.

Elena holds an LL.M from the University of California, Los Angeles and is a member of the State Bar of California.
