Internationally known for the strict death penalties, penalties that it include public stoning, crucifixion, been thrown off tall buildings, placed on those “infidels” who don’t follow the Sharia law, ISIS’ fearful punishments didn’t become so terrifying until the beheading of American journalists James Foley and Steven Sotloff. The terrorist group recorded their executions live and then send it as a second warning to the United States.
"Just as your missiles continue to strike our people, our knife will continue to strike the necks of your people,” said one of the members after beheading an American journalist; threatening the United States with death to prevent more airstrikes in Iraq according to the UPI newspaper.
The Islamic State of Iraq and Levant which wants a government ruling with Sharia law and hopes to install the Caliphate with the goal of making a worldwide an Islamic State, hit the news headlines once again after taking over Palmyra in Syria, taking control of over more than 50% of Syrian territory. In addition, the group not only is terrorizing women and children, but according to a Fox News article, threatens other Islamic groups as well, such as Hamas, who fear for their territory in Gaza. Hamas is accusing and blaming ISIS of firing rockets and planting bombs in public buildings in the Gaza government; as well as blowing up a mosque.

In light of Hamas’ action we renew our allegiance to ISIS to strengthen his influence, to open up a war in Palestine in order to unite together in a war against the Jews,” said a group of supporters of the Islamic State in Jerusalem last month after the mosque attack.
So who is safe from this group who seems to terrorize the Middle Eastern world corner to corner?
"Today, in the fight against this dangerous phenomenon, nobody is present except Iran," said Major General Qassem Soleimani.
