As every year, this year the Garage Association in collaboration with the National Road Safety Authority has launched the "Prepare Your Vehicle for Winter" campaign, inviting scooters and motorcycles to participate for the first time. Drivers will enjoy free inspections at garages throughout the country as part of the campaign.

Every car, scooter, or motorcycle that passes the inspection will receive the official certification label from the Garage Association and the RLBD, attesting to its compliance and serving as proof of its quality.

Driving in rainy conditions can be dangerous, even for experienced and seasoned drivers. The mixture of rainwater and engine oil accumulated on the road creates a slippery surface that weakens tire traction and endangers road users. In Israel, where there are long periods between rainy days, almost every rainfall creates "first rain" conditions, posing a risk to car and two-wheeler riders.

Safety checks are currently being conducted at various garages throughout the country to inspect vehicle systems such as brakes, tires, lights, wipers, and alignment. The Garage Association invites you to visit their website and schedule a safety check at a nearby garage.

Ronan Levi, Chairman of the Association of Driving Schools: "Winter inspection and preparing the vehicle for it is an opportunity to ensure safe driving between annual tests and periodic maintenance. It is proper maintenance practice that can prevent accidents and ensure the safety of drivers and passengers. We urge all drivers to attend inspections and travel more safely in winter."
