The situation room will deliver alerts and information to Israeli travelers who are near a dangerous event, which should help them through an innovative and accessible application. The situation room will report on unusual alerts of a dangerous nature, demonstrations, strikes and natural disasters around the world.

A survey conducted by PassportCard revealed that approximately 86% of those flying abroad reported that after October 7, the sense of security at the travel destination became a central consideration in their choice. The survey also revealed that only 20% of Israeli travelers abroad know how to contact with the local emergency services.

"The security reality for Israelis who are around the world following October 7 has changed for the worse," noted Amidror , "the combination of advanced technology with human and skilled staff is the innovation brought by Passportcard.

The technology will allow the situation room to be more effective in rescue events around the world, mainly thanks to the technology, which will improve the ability to locate the place where the traveler in distress is. The emergency room will increase the sense of security of those flying abroad, so that it will be possible to transmit information in real time about events that may endanger Israelis around the world."

The CEO of PassportCard, Ronit Segal, said: "We have been working on this innovative service around the clock since October 8, with the aim of allowing Israelis returning to fly abroad to feel safer."
