It pays to do sports: Decathlon earned €931 million in 2023

The chain's sales totaled $15.6 billion, a slight increase compared to 2022. Digital sales: 17% of all sales.

Decathlon, the largest sports chain in Europe, reports today (Thursday) a net profit of €931 million in 2023. Sales amounted to €15.6 billion, an increase of 1.15% compared to 2022. The share of digital sales was 17.4% of all sales. The number of chain stores is 1,749 in 78 countries.

Barbara Martin Coppola, CEO of Decathlon: "In 2023, businesses around the world were operating under unprecedented circumstances. We chose to use this moment to act and change. I am very proud of the significant reduction in our CO2 emissions, while maintaining revenue growth."
