Half a year after reporting to you about one of the most interesting new cars that will arrive in Israel this year, Citroën reveals the first official details about the new C3 Aircross.

The Aircross is an elongated version of the new C3, stretching 4.39 meters long. Citroën does not disclose additional details, but it appears that as part of using the same platform, the 7-seater version will also receive the 1,200cc turbo hybrid petrol engine, 136 hp, with a double-clutch automatic gearbox with 6 speeds.

Two electric versions are also expected, with two battery sizes, range, and engine power. The basic one will likely have a 44 kWh battery like the e-C3 with a range of about 300 km, while the second will have a larger battery and a range of about 400 km. Power? 136 and 156 hp.

Based on the fuel consumption data of the Jeep Avenger based on the same platform and propulsion system, in the petrol version, an average combined consumption of about 18-19 km per liter can be expected.

Citroën does not disclose additional dimension data, but claims that the model will receive the longest wheelbase in the category. For the Indian version that is already being sold, with the same length and very similar lines, it has a wheelbase of only 2.67 meters, 23 cm less than the Dacia Jogger 7-seater. According to Citroën, the third row of seats will consist of two separate folding seats.

The Citroën Jumper is sold in the country at a very low price starting from NIS 115,000, but with manual transmission only. The full hybrid automatic version is priced at NIS 175,000. The 7-seater Citroën is expected to cost around NIS 150,000 in Israel based on price estimates in Europe.

In its new configuration, Citroën is intended to serve as the value-for-money brand of the Stellantis group and to launch additional models that will compete with Dacia.

The new Citroën C3 Aircross will arrive in Israel at the end of 2024.
