Committed to combating violence against women, Hertz pledges to do everything possible to support this socially significant struggle. As part of this corporate agenda and the desire to promote awareness and mitigate violence against women, Hertz will provide a special edition of refillable water bottles to thousands of its customers. Each bottle contributes a 25% donation to the Women's Shelter in Israel, an organization dedicated to gender equality, women's rights protection, combating violence against women, and promoting a fair and just Israeli society.

Sodastream designed and manufactured the bottles and packaging for Hertz's initiative. The bottles are branded with the company logo and colors, featuring text that explains and promotes the cause, inviting recipients to tag the initiative and thus increase awareness of violence against women #StopViolenceAgainstWomen.

"Hertz promotes a social agenda led by Ya'el Barak, Vice President of Human Resources, which we began in 2023 and continue this year. Its goal is to raise awareness and exposure to violence against women, aiming for change. Understanding that these women are everywhere, alongside each of us, and many of them are with us in the workplace, we conduct activities to raise awareness in every organization. This includes training managers to identify behaviors indicative of violence and allowing employees to always know who to turn to," says Liat Shaham, Marketing Manager at Hertz Israel.

Beyond allocating an annual budget for donations to organizations assisting in this matter, the company conducts an annual training program for organizations on violence mitigation. Over 100 organizations and 200 employees have already undergone training and have been equipped to address family violence issues.
