Dell Technologies unveils its portfolio of AI-powered computers at Dell Technologies World 2024 - Copilot+ AI computers.

The new personal computers, powered by Snapdragon® X Elite and Snapdragon X PlusSeries, feature artificial intelligence capabilities that help users streamline and enhance work processes and computer usage, with advanced search options, breakthrough battery life of up to 27 hours, live video captions, seamless continuation of work, and more.

The five new laptops are the XPS 13, Inspiron 14 Plus, Inspiron 14, Latitude 7455, and Latitude 5455.

New AI experiences:

  • Recall: A tool that remembers everything the user did on the computer, securely storing it on the personal computer rather than in the cloud, allowing users to continue working from where they left off. Users can easily search for files and applications they worked on weeks ago using natural language and descriptive search.
  • Cocreator: Enables creating artificial intelligence-generated images by combining free-form descriptions and sketches. Users can iterate on the image in real-time to make it exactly as they desire.
  • Live Captions: The ability to translate any live or pre-recorded audio from 44 languages to English, making video calls easier.
  • Windows Studio Effects: New Windows Studio effects adjust lighting and offer new creative filters to enhance collaboration in calls.
  • Auto Super Resolution: Real-time upgrade of videos and games for smoother streaming.

Additional features:

  • The new processors in AI-based computers can perform 45 trillion operations per second (TOPS) in the NPU, enabling more efficient and faster AI tasks.
  • With Copilot on the computer, users can get immediate results when searching for content. This means there's no need to worry about internet or cloud connectivity, making tasks smoother, more accessible, and more secure from anywhere users work or play on Dell Copilot computers.
  • Dell's new deployment services for Microsoft Copilot solutions allow for quickly creating more efficient pathways for work across the organization, reducing risks, and preparing users for full adoption of Copilot technologies.
