Modan Electronics and BUG announced the launch of four new Roborock models at a press conference in Tel Aviv on Wednesday. The flagship model, the S8 MaxV Ultra, is an advanced robotic vacuum with numerous enhancements. Additionally, a more accessible robotic vacuum from the Q Revo series, named MaxV, and two intriguing wireless vacuum models were introduced.

Starting with the flagship, the S8 MaxV Ultra, it is an advanced robotic vacuum featuring improvements such as a detachable brush from the robot's body with an arm for cleaning edges and corners. Enhancements to the docking station, known as RoboDock, were also showcased.

The detachable round side brush is a rotating damp brush, and the vacuum itself boasts one of the highest suction powers available at 10,000 Pascal. Additionally, the rear of the round vacuum is equipped with a wiping system called VibraRise 3, which includes a cloth that vibrates 4,000 times per minute and has a unique structure that allows it to lift two centimeters above carpets. The vacuum is also equipped with a front-facing camera for obstacle detection and two-way communication with pets when you are away from home.

The docking station automatically refills the vacuum with cleaning fluid, washes the wiping cloth with hot water at 60 degrees Celsius, and dries it with hot air at the same temperature, preventing odor issues. The S8 MaxV Ultra will be available for 5,890 NIS and will be available for pre-order by the end of the month. A version with direct connections to faucets and drainage from the docking station will be launched soon, eliminating the need for manual filling and emptying of water tanks.

The Q Revo model is a more accessible solution from the Roborock MaxV series. It features two rotating round cleaning heads (compared to silicone rollers in its larger counterpart), a slightly lower suction power of 7,000 Pascal, and the ability to lift the cloth to a height of one centimeter instead of two. This model also offers automatic emptying at the docking station, brush washing at 60 degrees Celsius, and hot air drying at 45 degrees Celsius. The price will be NIS 4,890.

All-in-One: Handheld, Upright, and Washing Vacuum

In addition to the robotic vacuums, the company launched two models of handheld wireless vacuum cleaners, one of which is particularly intriguing. The Dyad Pro Combo combines a handheld and upright wireless vacuum for wet vacuuming. When the motor unit is detached, it comes with a matching small accessory kit.

The Dyad Pro Combo has a suction power of 17,000 Pascal, combined with water injection. It is designed for both dry and wet vacuuming. The rollers (there are three in the device) heat up and can dry at a temperature of 50 degrees Celsius, similar to robotic vacuums, with a working time of up to 43 minutes. The price will be around NIS 2,500.

Finally, the company launched another wireless vacuum cleaner model with a sleek design called Flexi Pro, which has the same suction power as its larger counterpart but can almost completely flatten to the floor (nearly 180 degrees), making it easy to clean under low furniture. Another neat feature is the bi-directional motorized wheels that change their operation according to the direction of push. Sensors installed in the vacuum detect the level of dirt and automatically adjust the cleaning power accordingly. The operating time is 43 minutes, and the price will be NIS 1,790, available for purchase starting in July.
