10 Arab youths charged with petrol bomb attacks against Jerusalem IDF base

Following a two-month investigation police arrested 10 Arab youths from the east Jerusalem neighborhood of Issawiya Sunday for hurling dozens of petrol bombs at the IDF base adjacent to Hebrew University in the French Hill section of Jerusalem, police said.
According to a police, the group, ages 15-17, worked in tandem in two teams over the past eight weeks to identify potential targets and then hurl Molotov Cocktails at IDF vehicles, police patrols and civilians.
Although police said no military personnel, officers or civilians were harmed, several fires resulted from the attacks.
Members of the Border Control and undercover units made the arrests after forensic testing and a protracted investigation, police said, adding that all 10 suspects confessed to the attacks.
The suspects were arraigned at Jerusalem Magistrate Court Sunday afternoon, police said.
