10 more arrested for involvement in Tuba Zanghariya riots

Police arrested ten people overnight Wednesday for allegedly throwing stones in the Upper Galilee village of Tuba Zanghariya during rioting that occurred there in the aftermath of a vandalism and arson attack on a local mosque on Sunday. Sixteen youths had previously been arrested following the riots, 14 of whom were remanded to four days custody on Wednesday.
The suspects arrested overnight Wednesday were expected to face remand hearings in Safed on Thursday.
Police believe further arrests connected to the rioting will be made in the coming days.
