A 23-year-old resident of Shuafat was shot to death inside his car in east Jerusalem early Thursday morning.

He was brought by Red Crescent medics to a Magen David Adom intensive care unit, where he was initially treated before being evacuated to Hadassah-University Medical Center on Mount Scopus.

Police are currently investigating the incident and are searching for the suspects, who are believed to have fled on a motorcycle.

However, this was not the only violent incident that took place throughout the country overnight.

In Haifa, a 29-year-old was killed and another person lightly injured in a shooting, Hebrew media reported. Police are also investigating that incident.
