Peretz Giladi, a 72-year-old volunteer from the Nature and Parks Authority slipped and fell as he was trying to assist a family who needed water during a hike in Nahal Amud on Tuesday.
The man was evacuated to Ziv Medical Center in Safed, but was pronounced dead at the hospital.
