Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas on Tuesday phoned Nazareth Mayor Ramiz Jaraizi to express his support, after a grenade was hurled at the mayor's home late on Monday night. Jaraizi's bodyguard was moderately wounded in the attack and the house was damaged. "Continue your work of promoting the city of Nazareth," Channel 2 quoted Abbas as telling the mayor.
