An Arab resident of east Jerusalem on Thursday evening drove his car into the convoy carrying former US President Jimmy Carter while it was traveling in Jerusalem.
Security personnel drew their weapons on the driver and police forces were called to the scene.
The convoy continued on its way. No injuries were reported.
