An Israeli woman has filed a complaint to Israel Police stating a famous former soccer player raped her, Channel 13 reported on Wednesday evening.
The complaint, which was filed on Monday, alleges that the soccer player sexually assaulted the woman back when they were in a relationship four and a half years ago.
The player is reportedly a very famous public figure in Israel and has had a highly successful career.
The complaint was filed to Israel Police's northern district. However, due to the high-profile nature of the investigation, Israel Police have decided to move the case to the main central district in Tel Aviv.
