UAE foreign minister to visit Israel next week

The visit will take place on the second anniversary of the signing of the Abraham Accords.

United Arab Emirates Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed plans to visit Israel next week.

Bin Zayed plans to meet with Prime Minister Yair Lapid and President Isaac Herzog, multiple sources in Jerusalem confirmed.

The visit will take place on the second anniversary of the signing of the Abraham Accords, in which the UAE and Bahrain normalized diplomatic relations with Israel, in a ceremony on the White House lawn.

The Emirati foreign minister visited Israel earlier this year for the Negev Summit in Sde Boker, along with his counterparts from Bahrain, Morocco, Egypt and the US.  Lapid visited the UAE last year.
