Prime Minister Yair Lapid will not attend the United Nations climate conference in Egypt next week, his office said on Wednesday, a day after the election which appear to have ended in a victory for Likud leader Benjamin Netanyahu.
The conference - referred to as COP 27 - will be held in the Egyptian resort town of Sharm El-Sheikh.
President Isaac Herzog will represent Israel at the conference, Lapid's office said.
