Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein held a hearing for
Haaretz journalist Uri Blau on Thursday, ahead of a final decision on whether to try him for receiving and keeping 1,800 classified military documents stolen by former IDF OC Command secretary Anat Kam.
The hearing was aimed at allowing Blau's attorneys to make the case against charging Blau, who went on to publish articles based on the documents.
