Attorney-general holds hearing for Uri Blau

Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein held a hearing for Haaretz journalist Uri Blau on Thursday, ahead of a final  decision on whether to try him for receiving and keeping 1,800 classified military documents stolen by former IDF OC Command secretary Anat Kam.
The hearing was aimed at allowing Blau's attorneys to make the case against charging Blau, who went on to publish articles based on the documents.
The hearing is a standard legal procedure held for all individuals before state prosecutors decide on whether to press charges.
Two months ago, Tel Aviv state prosecutors said it possessed sufficient evidence to place Blau on trial .
