Australia rebuilding task 'of postwar proportions'

BRISBANE, Australia — Australian authorities on Thursday said the body of another person killed in floodwaters that tore through northeastern Australia this week has been found.
Queensland state Emergency Services Minister Neil Roberts said officials found the body in the flood-ravaged Lockyer Valley west of Brisbane on Thursday. A flash flood ripped through the valley on Monday, killing 14 people, including the person found Thursday.
Roberts said 61 people are still missing from that flood.
The newly reported deaths brings to 25 the total number of people killed since driving rain and floods began in Queensland in late November.
