Bail hearing in IMF chief's rape case

NEW YORK - A bail hearing in the case of IMF chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn, who is charged with trying to rape a hotel maid, will be held on Thursday, a court official said.

"Yes there will definitely be a bail hearing tomorrow," Manhattan District Attorney's Office spokeswoman Erin Duggan told Reuters on Wednesday.

Strauss-Kahn's lawyers have denied the charges of a criminal sexual act, attempted rape, sexual abuse, unlawful imprisonment and forcible touching. He was denied bail on Monday. He faces up to 25 years in prison if convicted
