Broadcast networks set aside radio frequencies to warn of incoming rockets

The broadcasting networks have set aside radio frequencies intended to warn residents of possible rocket attacks overnight.
The "silent frequencies" will only broadcast sirens as a means to indicate to residents that they best find a bombproof shelter nearby.The frequencies are as follows: in Ashdod and Ashkelon, 101.5 FM; in Lehavim, Meitar, and the Arava region, 95.8 FM; in Beersheba and the metropolitan area, 97 FM; in Rishon Letzion and its immediate surroundings, 91 FM; and in the center of the country, 100 FM.
The silent frequencies will be in operation until 6 a.m. local time Tuesday.
