Channel 2 shortens 8 o'clock news broadcast, cancels shows

The Channel 2 directorate decided on Tuesday to shorten the 8 o'clock news broadcast to 45 minutes, and cancel the 6 o'clock show hosted by Oded Ben-Ami, and "Meet The Press" hosted by Dana Weiss.
A statement from Channel 2 cited budget cuts as the reason behind the show cancelation.
