Eagerly awaited special counsel Trump-Russia report released

WASHINGTON- Attorney General William Barr on Thursday released Special Counsel Robert Mueller's report on Russia's role in the 2016 U.S. election, providing details about a 22-month inquiry that cast a shadow over Donald Trump's presidency.
The report said there is "substantial evidence" that President Donald Trump fired FBI Director James Comey due to his "unwillingness to publicly state that the president was not personally under investigation."
