Felafel vendor moderately wounded in suspected gangland shooting in Haifa

In what police suspect is another gangland shooting in the northern city, an unknown gunman opened fire on a felafel vendor in Haifa on Monday, leaving the man moderately-wounded with a gunshot wound to the leg before fleeing the scene.
The victim, the 45-year-old owner of the felafel stand on Saida Paz street, is known to police, the Coastal District said Monday.
No one has yet been arrested in the crime, and investigators are currently looking for witnesses to the shooting, as well as surveillance camera footage from local businesses that may have caught an image of the shooter or the get-away car.
Back in early July in Haifa, a well-known local criminal was shot to death in the stairwell of his building, by a gunman who waited in the stairwell next to his front door.
That shooting, like Monday's was handed over to the Coastal District branch of the YAMAR special investigative unit of the Israel Police.
