Former senior PMO official admits to fraud, breach of trust

Perach Lerner, a former senior official in the Prime Minister’s Office, admitted to charges of fraud and breach of trust the Justice Ministry announced on Thursday.
In an agreement to which Lerner consented, she will be dismissed from her position within the Civil Service Commission, be banned from working in the civil service for five years and accept a fine of NIS 20,000, and her file closed by the State Attorney without an indictment.
A complaint will also be filed against Lerner to the Disciplinary Court of the Civil Service Commission, in which she will admit to using her position in the PMO to advance the interests of several clients of her husband who runs a Public Relations firm.
