A Grad rocket fired from the Gaza Strip was intercepted by the Iron Dome rocket defense system near Ashkelon Thursday night, hours after a multi-pronged terror attack near Eilat that killed seven people, IDF Spokesman Brig.-Gen Yoav Mordechai said.
