Report: IDF officer hurt lightly in Hebron clashes

Rioters in Hebron lightly wounded an IDF officer on Wednesday in protests over the death of Maissara Abu Hamdiyeh, the Palestinian prisoner who died of cancer in Israel on Tuesday in what the PA has blamed on Israeli medical negligence, according to Israeli media reports.
Dozens of Palestinians threw stones and Molotov cocktails at security forces in Hebron, from where Hamdiyeh hailed. His funeral was scheduled to be held in Hebron on Thursday.
The IDF officer injured in the clashes was treated on the scene, according to the reports.
