IDF identifies reservist who died in car crash

He was posthumously promoted to the rank of Staff-Sgt.-Maj.

Sgt.-Maj. Yosef Haim Shalom, 26, from Or Yehuda was identified as the combat reserve soldier who died Sunday in a traffic accident at Re’im junction in the South, the IDF said.
He was posthumously promoted to the rank of Staff-Sgt.-Maj., it said.
Shalom was in the 162nd Division’s 8194th Battalion.
Another reserve soldier who was seriously injured in the crash was hospitalized, the IDF said.
