Jerusalem: Mahane Yehuda market vendor suffers light gunshot wound

Magen David Adom paramedics rushed a vendor at Jerusalem's famed Mahane Yehuda open-air market to the hospital on Friday after he sustained a gunshot wound that resulted from a dispute with another merchant nearby.
The victim's injuries are not serious, according to hospital officials.
The incident occurred after the son of one of the merchants involved in a dispute with another vendor arrived on the scene.
Witnesses nearby said that unidentified individuals tried to take the young man's army-issued rifle. In the ensuing struggle, the gun discharged, wounding one of the vendors.
Police have detained the son for questioning.
