Liberman: Ground operation in Gaza should go 'all the way'

"If ground forces enter Gaza, we can't stop in the middle, we have to go all the way," Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman said at a culture event in Kiryat Motzkin on Saturday.
Liberman said that because Israel did not "go all the way" during Operation Cast Lead in 2008, the operation's goals were not met and Israel paid a heavy diplomatic price.
"The operation has three goals: Returning quiet to the South, rebuilding Israeli deterrence and destroying stocks of long-term rockets terrorist organizations in the Strip have," the foreign minister said.
