Mehdi Karoubi Web posting: New Iranian government is 'illegitimate'

Mehdi Karoubi, one of the three candidates defeated in Iran's presidential elections, was quoted by Reuters as calling the re-election of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad "illegitimate" in a posting on his website. "I do not accept the result and therefore consider as illegitimate the new government," Karoubi writes. "Because of the irregularities the vote should be annulled."
