Ministers Sa'ar, Margi slam anti-Israel article written by BGU lecturer

A Ben-Gurion University lecturer raised the ire of Education Minister Gideon Sa'ar and Religious Affairs Minister Yaacov Margi on Sunday after calling on the international community to boycott Israel in an opinion piece in the Los Angeles Times. Sa'ar harshly criticized Neve Gordon's article, calling it "appalling and condemnable." He discussed the issue with university president Dr. Rivka Carmi, and she updated him on the measures the institution plans to take against Gordon. Margi called on Carmi to immediately suspend Gordon from his job and to publicly condemn his article.
