Missing Druse soldier's parents ask police to help find son

The parents of missing IDF soldier Majdi Halabi Monday requested that police and security forces renew their investigation of murderer Yahi Farhan who claimed in a media interview to have information about their son.
"We turn today to everyone and also to Farhan himself and all the other prison inmates, if they have any information about our son, don't think twice, tell someone," Majdi's father, Nazmi told reporters Monday.
Halabi disappeared in May of 2005 on the way from his home to his Haifa base. Halabi, who was still undergoing basic training at the time, was last seen at the Daliat al-Carmel's central bus station on May 24, 2005. He was thought to have had only NIS 50 in his possession, confirmed by the last computer recorded transaction at his local automatic teller machine.
