Mofaz: Netanyahu strong on Abbas, weak on Hamas

Opposition leader Shaul Mofaz criticized Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Sunday for being strong against Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas and weak against Hamas."

During a tour of Kfar Aza Kibbutz following the escalation of violence in the South, Mofaz stated: "In the four years since Operation Cast Led, Israel's deterrence against Hamas is weak."

Mofaz called on the government to restore security for the children of the South. "The reality that southern residents live in fear must stop today. It is terrorist organizations in Gaza who must fear for their lives, not the southern residents."

Mofaz added: "This is a low point in security for Israel. This is the result of stuttering and unclear government policy."
