Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak said Tuesday that he discussed efforts to revive the stalled Middle East peace talks with Turkey's Abdullah Gul. Mubarak said they also discussed efforts to broker a deal to reconcile rival Palestinian groups during Tuesday's talks in Ankara. Neither leader elaborated, but Gul said that the Palestinian cause it a priority for both Turkey and Egypt. Mubarak said Turkey and Egypt agree that Israeli "position and actions" in the West Bank and its blockade of Gaza "posed a danger" to peace.
