Police: Ronnie Ron claimed his mother caused Rose's death

The murder trial of Ronnie Ron and Marie-Charlotte Pizem continued in Petah Tikva District Court on Sunday with the testimony of a police stool pigeon, who told the court of the different versions Ron offered to the killing of Rose Pizem. Ron and Marie-Charlotte Pizem are charged with the murder of Pizem's daughter and Ron's granddaughter, four-year-old Pizem, whose body was found in Tel Aviv's Yarkon River on September 11, 2008. According to the informant, among other accounts, Ron also tried to frame his mother Vivian Yaakov, saying that the elderly woman is the one who slapped Rose, crashing her head into a counter and causing her death. Seven protocols of conversations between Ron and the informant were submitted to the court.
