Report: Palestinian youth shot after throwing rocks near Gaza fence

Palestinian media released a video on Saturday, showing a protester near the Gaza Security Fence throwing a rock in the direction of the fence and being shot down by an IDF sniper.

Allegedly, this is one of the two youths who were killed during the Friday March of Return protests.

The two minors, Belal Khafaja [17] and Ahmad Abu Tyour [16], were laid to rest in Rafah on Saturday.

Tyour died from his injuries Saturday morning and Khafaja was announced dead on the scene, Palestinian News Agency WAFA reported.

The father of Abu Tyour said: "What could a boy do to them [the IDF soldiers]?"

"Even if they shoot us and kill us we will not give up even a small part of [historical] Palestine. I have three more sons, I [would] give them all for Palestine", he stated, according to Walla.

The IDF spoksperson unit responded by stating that an inquiry will be held by the proper army authorities.
