Right-wing MKs: Barak has worked 3 yrs against settlements

Defense Minister Ehud Barak carried out three years of his term working to harm the settlement movement in the West Bank with no justification, right-wing MKs charged on Wednesday, continuing the right-wing rally against the defense minister surrounding the issue of Jewish settlement.
This past week the IDF ordered the eviction of 15 settler families from a controversial building in the city of Hebron over security fears, despite the settlers' claim that they purchased the three-story complex near the Cave of the Patriarchs legally from its Palestinian owner.
MKs Arye Eldad (National Union) and Ze'ev Elkin (Likud) said in a joint-statement by the "Land of Israel Lobby" that they supported Vice Prime Minister Moshe Ya'alon's Wednesday morning call for Barak to be stripped of all authority over West Bank settlements, and for that power to be transferred to other ministers.
"We must use the remaining time [of this government's term] to resolve the problems that Barak has created... and to promote the settlements as is appropriate for a nationalist government to do," they said.
