Sela loses in Moscow

Dudi Sela squandered a golden opportunity to reach his first ATP Tour quarterfinal since last July on Thursday, losing 6-1, 6-7 (7), 6-1 to Teymuraz Gabashvili in the second round of the Kremlin Cup in Moscow.
The 28-year-old Israeli had climbed 19 places up to No. 68 in the world earlier in the week after thrashing Gabashvili last week in the final of the Challenger tournament in Uzbekistan.
