Son of former Israeli Navy commander dismissed from military service

The son of the former commander of Israel's Navy was dismissed from military service after failing to pass security clearance reviews due to "issues related to transmitting [classified] information," Channel 2 reported Wednesday.
According to the report, the security clearance process began earlier this year when the son of admiral (res.) Eliezer Marom started his post as an officer serving as deputy commander of the navy base in Ashdod.
In response to the matter, the IDF said that "the officer culminated his military service, and for privacy reasons we cannot elaborate further."
