Doctors at Ziv Medical Center in Safed were treating a three-year-old girl, who was in critical condition after falling into a septic hole on Saturday.
The girl's father told doctors that she had slipped while running and fallen into the cesspit that was being used for cleaning waste following a wedding at the local village. A relative of the girl pulled her out of the hole, but she remained in critical condition due to the large amount of wastewater and hazardous toxins she ingested.
