US President Donald Trump fired the intelligence community’s chief watchdog , Michael Atkinson,
Politico reported on Friday night.
Atkinson was the first one to notify Congress last September about an “urgent” whistleblower complaint he’d received from an intelligence official involving Trump’s communications with Ukraine, for which he was ultimately impeached in late December.
