UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on Friday sent a letter to the governments of a number of Mediterranean countries, including Israel, expressing his concern about reports of planned flotillas to the Gaza Strip.UN spokesman Martin Nesirky said that Ban asked all the governments to avoid violence and use their influence to discourage such flotillas.
