Yacimovich: Lapid's economic plan same as predecessor's

Finance Minister Yair Lapid presented Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu with his economic plan on Thursday.

In response to the plan, opposition leader Shelly Yacimovich (Labor) said it was exactly the same as the one that was formulated before elections by Lapid's predecessor, Yuval Steinitz.

Yacimovich expressed her disappointment "having discovered that Lapid's concern for the middle class was produced the Netanyahu school of thought." She also said the decrease in tax revenues due to lower tax rates imposed on large companies would slow down the economy.

Yacimovich said the opposition would support any economic decision implemented by Netanyahu and Lapid.
