Yesh Atid calls on Netanayhu to pass the baton as he ‘shames’ the office

“No Israeli citizen would agree to be examined by a doctor who is being indicted,” Yesh Atid said in a press release on Thursday, “if Netanyahu loves the nation like he says he does…he should resign.”

Yesh Atid vowed not to sit in a coalition government with Netanyahu and wished “for him and his family” to be found not guilty of corruption.

“Netanyahu should pass the baton to a high-ranking Likud member,” the statement said, “the office of Prime Minister is a symbol, and the symbol must not be tarnished.”
