Israeli airline El Al and automobile maker Rolls-Royce signed a strategic agreement Wednesday night at a festive ceremony in YafoThe agreement, signed with the Rolls-Royce aero-engine manufacturing company, was signed in accordance with El Al's aircraft acquisition renewal program, announced last October. As part of the plan, the Israeli airline plans to add 15 new jetliners to its fleet, with the option of acquiring an additional 13 later on.El Al is expected to begin receiving the new jetliners in mid-2017.
