The employees of Ashdod Port are maintaining operational continuity, unloading and loading vital goods for the residents of Israel.
Ashdod Port is vital to the Israeli economy's ability to continue functioning. As such, the port continues operating around the clock despite the emergency, emphasizing the personal safety of each employee at the port.
"We are working hard to unload cargo with food products, goods and produce for the Israeli market to ensure the population has enough supplies," the company said in a release.

Acting CEO Eli Bar-Yosef added, "I would like to praise the relentless dedication of Ashdod Port's employees who continue their routine work at a time when the port is operating with constant siren alerts for incoming missiles. They continue to load and unload goods vital to keep the Israeli economy going, subject to the guidelines of the Home Front Command."
