09:00 Stores are allowed to open. I run out to resupply with items for Shabbat.
10: 00-12:40 Quiet
12:40 More Katyushas, more explosions.
14:00 A rocket that hit an apartment building in Safed, hurting two people moderately and eight others lightly. Other rockets hit Peki'in, which is a neighboring village less than three kilometers away, Hatzor HaGlilit and Kiryat Shmona.
15:40 Closed my computer. The noise of the continuous explosions continues relentlessly. More Israeli artillery units are moved into place and their voice is now being heard.
16:00 Large Katyusha attack scares the heck out of family. I try to lighten the atmosphere so daughter Rachel and Chaim won't be so scared.
16:40 While watching the news I fall asleep exhausted.
19:52 Katyusha hits family home in Moshav Meron. Grandmother and grandson murdered.
